mounted, skid mounted
and portable drilling equipment. We typically operate two (2) drill rigs
drawn from our in-house fleet of five (5) rigs including a truck mounted
Acker AD-II hollow stem auger rig, a truck mounted Acker
SoilMax hollow stem
auger rig, two (2) trailer mounted S&H 40C skid rigs and a truck mounted
Mobile B31 auger rig. Our drilling capabilities have been reviewed and approved

Prequalified Contractors, and are likewise a prequalified drilling contractor
for West Virginia DOT.
Our test boring experience has included contractural highway
and bridge work plus many public/private projects of various size totaling
over 185,000 L.F. of soil
sampling and rock coring to date. With our present test boring equipment
we are capable of completing projects involving virtually any type of
accessibility, including water borings on creeks or rivers. Our portable
equipment includes a tripod, motorized cathead, electric drills and hand
hammers that enable us to drill within interior building situations and
difficult access sites such as wetlands and steep slopes.
Our
senior drilling

and are supervised by Registered Professional Engineers and Registered
Professional
Geologists. Soil samples, rock cores and test boring logs are reviewed by
an engineer or geologist prior to transmittal to our clients, and our
logs are computer generated with
graphic display using gINT software. Test Boring Results drawings, when requested,
are likewise created via computer using our in-house AutoCAD capabilities.
Test boring stakeouts are completed using conventional field survey techniques
